Hardeeville is Growing

Despite the national and highly publicized home sales “slide” for Toll Brothers, the Hampton Pointe development in Hardeeville is going gangbusters. In just thirteen short months, there have been 100 home sales and 30 homesite sales. John Strother, real estate Broker for Hampton Pointe, is very pleased with the success of the community. “It’s as good as we anticipated, maybe even better. Our customers are excited about Hampton Pointe, the natural beauty, the golf, bike paths, walking trails and all the first-class amenities like the spa and state-of-the-art Fitness Center.” Three holes of the Nicklaus Designed golf course have been completed and by spring of 2009, residents will enjoy playing the entire 18-holes. As Hardeeville continues to boom and moves on to become the third largest city in South Carolina, those who have purchased villas, homes, Carriage Homes and homesites at pre-construction pricing will be delighted they did.

Within a 3-mile radius of Hampton Pointe, there is a variety of shopping, banking, grocery stores and medical facilities. Coming soon is a nearly 1-million-square-foot regional shopping center called an “Outdoor Life-style Mall” with anchor stores such as Dillard’s and Barnes & Noble. Berkeley Place is gathering crowds, interested in everything from the 12-theater Cineplex to restaurants, outdoor music and specialty boutiques. The shores of the May and Okatie Rivers are minutes away and beautifully maintained parks such as Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge are also popular attractions. The University of South Carolina is only minutes away and on the horizon is a large technology park. It’s exciting and energizing – many more reasons to “come on down.” to the Lowcountry.
